Replicating (backing up) Oracle resources
Replicating Oracle resources using the GUI
This topic provides an overview of how to replicate (back up) Oracle resources using the GUI. Replication
creates point-in-time copies of the virtual disks that comprise an Oracle database (tablespaces and
archived redo logs).
Considerations
•
Resources to replicate. Determine if you need to replicate an entire database or individual
tablespaces. The database or tablespaces must be available in a list or graphical tree view.

Determine the GUI action that best meets your needs.
2.
In the navigation pane, select Oracle. Oracle resources are displayed in the content pane.
3.
In the content pane, locate the Oracle database or tablespaces to replicate.
4.
Select the Oracle resources to replicate and select the desired replication action. An Oracle
replication window opens.
