Installing the Processor Air Duct

1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See
Information" on page
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see
System Cover" on page
4. Lower the air duct into place. Use caution so you do not pinch or disengage cables
that may be near or under the air duct. See the figure below.
5. Install the server system cover. For instructions, see
Cover".

Installing and Removing Memory

Caution: The memory is NOT hot swappable. Before removing or replacing any memory DIMM,
you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to
