Take a Backup of the Registry Before Applying the Registry File: Select the check box, then
specify the path to the backup file, for example,
If you select this option, the entire registry is backed up before importing the configured registry
file. The backup process is performed every time this action executes. This can be a time-consuming
operation and the backup file can be large.
Before you edit the registry, export the keys in the registry that you plan to edit, or back up the entire
registry by selecting this option. If a problem occurs, you can then restore the registry to its previous
state.
E.26 Action - Run Script
The Action - Run Script dialog box lets you configure a script to be executed on the managed
device. For the Run Script action to successfully complete, ensure that the script is silent (requires
no user intervention).
