Disk Space for Caching and Archiving

Archiving has precedence over mirror caching. Mirroring uses some
of the disk space unused by archives. When more space is needed
for archiving or mirroring, then the least recently accessed mirrored
data will be removed. The number of discs that can be mirrored or
archived depends on the amount of data copied, not on an arbitrary
disc capacity such as 650 megabytes.
If you run out of space for archiving, you may obtain space for
another archive by switching the caching mode to Partial or None or
by reducing the space allocated for file caching with Partial mode.
Removing a physical disc that has been mirrored or removing an
archive copy also will reallocate the disk space.
You can view the usage of hard disk space for caching, and the
amount of free space on the Administration web page for Discs and
Drives, in either view, and on the Statistics page. The blue band
indicates the space currently being used by cached and archived
data.
