4 Setup for Novell Networks
7. In the path box, type \\HP hhhhhh_ NW\SYS, where hhhhhh are
the last six digits of the server's LAN hardware (MAC) address.
8. This maps the administrative root access to the server. If you wish
to use this root access for the same drive letter the next time you
start your computer, check Reconnect at Logon. (If you wish to
select another level of mapping, see step 12 below.)
9. Click the OK button. The server is now ready for use.
10. Double-click the entry for your new server. The default entry
name is HP hhhhhh_ NW, where hhhhhh are the last six digits of
the server's LAN hardware (MAC) address. The name can be
changed later during configuration.
On some clients, if you have set Bindery Authentication, you
will be prompted to enter your user name and password, unless
you are already logged in. (Before the server has been set up, all
users have full access to it.)
11. Once you are logged in to the server, you should see the available
discs by their volume names, as well as the sys folder. Expand
sys to see the volumes folder (which also contains all the
volumes).
