Switching Off Auto-Archiving and Making Specific Archives
You can switch off auto-archiving for specific CD-ROM drives on the
Administration web page for Discs and Drives, in the "Drives" view.
Then you can set individual drives for auto-archiving, and any disc
subsequently inserted into the drive will be archived automatically.
You can initiate a specific archive of a disc on the Administration
web page for Discs and Drives, in the "Discs and file system" view,
by checking its Archive box. Clicking the Archive All button
specifically archives all the discs in the drives. (See the illustration
on page 8-4.)
Switching Off Automatic Ejection
You can switch off automatic ejection following auto-archiving for
all drives. On the Administration web page, click the This Server
button and with the server module highlighted, click the Settings
button. Then select the Caching and Archiving tab and click the
Eject checkmark. After archiving, you can eject the disc manually at
the tower or by pressing the Eject button on the Administration web
page for Discs and Drives, in either view.
This page also allows you to change the following archive settings:
•
Maximum size of disc to automatically archive or mirror.
•
Minimum size of disc to trigger warnings that not enough hard
disk space is left.
