Closed reception

Closed reception limits fax reception to that from a sender machine having a security function and the same
passcode registered. If the passcode fails to match, the reception will be refused and the communication will be
aborted. Since the sender is limited, you can avoid receiving fax messages from a wrong sender by entry error.
To receive fax messages using this function, the sender machine needs to have a security function and the same
passcode registered as that of the receiver machine.
For more details about the communication range based on passcodes, refer to "Communication range of closed
reception" on page 3-99.

ID check transmission
ID check transmission limits fax transmission to when the lower four digits of the fax number you dialed and
those registered in the destination machine are matched. If the lower four digits of the both numbers are not
matched, the transmission will be aborted, preventing the fax messages from being erroneously transmitted.
This function reduces the trouble of transmitting fax messages to a wrong destination.
