Voice guidance items

Operation guidance
This explains functions, the registration/setting method and paper jam clearing method.
Note
Voice guidance is given only for a part of functions and a paper jam.

Error reset guidance
When there is a problem with the machine, like a paper jam, the guidance is given on how to
clear and reset the problem.
■
Notifi cation guidance
The machine status is guided by the voice, for example, "Copy Ready" when the document is
inserted.
Note
The "Error reset guidance" and "Notifi cation guidance" automatically start depending on the machine status regardless of the
status of the <Voice Guidance> key.
■
Complete beep
This sound is given when copying has been completed, a fax transmission/reception is completed
and when the received document printing is completed.
Reference
Set "Voice" for each completion sound at the complete beep in the sound settings. (page 5-33)

Operation guidance mode

Operation guidance has 2 modes. The default setting is "Manual".

Getting Started
Voice guidance automatically starts whenever available.
When the voice guidance is available, press the blinking <Voice Guidance> key to start the
voice guidance. After that, the voice guidance continues during a series of operation.
