The entire printout is dirty

The document glass is dirty.
The rear side of the duplex printed
document is printed.
The platen cover pad is dirty.
Are you copying onto paper larger
than the document? (With the ratio
set to 100%)
Are the orientations of the
document and paper different?
Did not reduce the ratio to match
the paper size.
The document is not loaded
properly.
The loaded document is not
appropriate in the ADF.
Is there anything on the ADF glass? Clean the ADF glass.
Countermeasure
Clean the document glass.
If making duplex copies of the
thin document, the rear side of
the document may be scanned and
printed onto the front document.
Lighten the density.
Clean the platen cover pad.
Select paper that is the same size
as the document.
Select the paper in the same
orientation. Or, match the document
orientation to the paper orientation.
Reduce the ratio to match the paper
size.
Load the document correctly.
Use a document that can be loaded
in the ADF.
