Configuring High Availability for Virtual Gateway Mode
You can follow the same instructions explained in
High Availability Overview, page 4-18
The difference is, if you have deployed your CASs in Virtual Gateway mode, the Trusted and Untrusted
interfaces have the same IP address as shown in
Figure 4-18
Warning
Do not physically connect the eth1 (NIC2) untrusted network interface on a Virtual Gateway CAS until
the proper configuration has been performed. Refer to

After HA configuration is complete on both CASs, use the Service IP in the New Server form to add the
HA-CAS pair to the CAM. Note that the HA-CAS pair is automatically added as the same Server Type.
