Within each subnet, ShareLink Pro devices have been deployed as shown in the table below.
One ShareLink Pro device in each subnet has been selected to operate as the AirPlay advertiser for that
particular subnet.

To accommodate both PRIVATE and PUBLIC subnets, a ShareLink Pro 2000 or 2500 device that is
connected to both PRIVATE and PUBLIC subnets has been selected as the EDS Host. In this case, the
ShareLink Pro device connected to both PRIVATE Subnet #3 and PUBLIC Subnet #1 has been selected,
and the hostname has been updated to ExtronEDS via PCS.
All other ShareLink Pro devices in all other subnets have been configured to operate as EDS Clients.
Configuring AirPlay Device Discovery in PCS
Follow these steps to configure the above example ShareLink Pro deployment (this configuration is done
through the EDS Host via PCS).
1. Open PCS v4.8.3 or greater.
2. Connect to the ShareLink Pro assigned as the EDS Host.
3. Navigate to General Settings > Display Setup tab.
4. Click View Devices (
This opens a list of all ShareLink Pro devices operating as EDS Clients (reporting to the EDS Host):
