FCC Class A Notice

• The Twisted Pair Extension technology works with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) or shielded
twisted pair (STP) cables; but to ensure FCC Class A and CE compliance, STP cables and
STP Connectors are required.

Battery Notice
This product contains a battery. Do not open the unit to replace the battery. If the battery needs replacing,
return the entire unit to Extron (for the correct address, see the Extron Warranty section on the last page
of this guide).
CAUTION: Risk of explosion. Do not replace the battery with an incorrect type. Dispose of used
batteries according to the instructions.
