Neuron-Spectrum-61, 62, 63, 64, 65 (Technical Manual)
3.3 Test Completion
If there are no exams are planned during the day, disconnect the stimulators and
the electronic unit from the PC system unit or USB hub. If a long dwell in the device
operation is assumed, it is recommended to unplug the computer from the mains.
If the digital system is powered off during the exam, including for the period of more
than 30 s, the equipment functioning is terminated. The digital system functioning is
not automatically resumed when power supply is restored. To resume the equipment
functioning and continue the exam, switch on the PC and digital system (see the steps
described in section 3.1), open the interrupted exam and select the Exam|Resume
acquisition main menu command. The exam shall be continued from the point at
which it was last saved. The data recorded within the interval between the last saving
and power supply failure cannot be restored.
Upon the operation completion clean and disinfect the system according to section 3.4
"Troubleshooting". The reusable electrodes and sensors should be cleaned from the
electrode gel or paste remain, rinsed in distilled water and disinfected in accordance
with the "Disinfection" section of the related technical manuals.
It is strongly prohibited to:
fully immerse electrodes to distilled water;
use sharp instruments for electrode cleaning.
The disposable electrodes and sensors shall be discarded after use in compliance
with chapter 9 "Disposal" of the technical manual.
3.4 Troubleshooting
The list of some possible troubles and the ways of their removal is given in Table 7
(the troubles that can occur in the whole system or in the electronic unit are described;
as for the troubles of other items and parts of the system their troubleshooting is de-
scribed in their technical manuals).
