The front panel of the electronic unit contains touch-proof connectors to plug elec-
trodes, operation indicator, mode selection button and operation mode indicators.
Touch-proof connectors are combined with impedance indicator.
The operation indicator displays the on/off status of the electronic unit (Table 3).

Indicator color
Yellow The electronic unit is powered and is ready for connection to the Neuron-
Spectrum.NET or Poly-Spectrum.NET software
Green The electronic unit operates under the control of the Neuron-Spectrum.NET
or Poly-Spectrum.NET software
Red There is a fatal error of electronic unit during the system operation (see
section 3.3 "Troubleshooting")
The operation mode indicators display the current operating mode of the electronic
unit (Table 4). The operating mode is switched using the mode selection button.

Indicator
Impedance The impedance is measured during the application of electrodes. The color
measurement mode of touch-proof connectors shows the quality of electrode impedance, see
Table 7.
Monitoring mode The signal from the electronic unit is transferred to the Neuron-
Spectrum.NET software, displayed on the monitor but not saved on the disc.
Recording mode The signal from the electronic unit is transferred to the Neuron-
Spectrum.NET software, displayed on the monitor and saved on the disc.
