Neuron-Spectrum-61, 62, 63, 64, 65 (Technical Manual)
 The use of multi-socket electric mains extenders without additional protective
actions is prohibited. The fact is that the probable break of the protective
ground circuit of the multi-socket electric mains extender can lead to summa-
tion of leakage current in all connected units on their metal parts to danger-
ous values.
 Before the system setting, the electrician must check the quality of standard
tripolar sockets and the integrity of the protective ground circuit.
 In case the system components are connected to several tripolar sockets,
make sure they are grounded to one and the same protective ground circuit.
Otherwise, there is a danger of several tens of mA compensating current
leakage through the system connecting cables that leads to the equipment
break-down.
Requirements for connection to local area network (LAN):
 To avoid the electrical shock, connect the system to local area network (LAN)
according to 10/100/1000-BaseT-Ethernet standard only if LAN complies with
safety requirements to ME equipment EN 60601-1 or using the isolation trans-
former that conforms to the above-mentioned requirements.
2.3 Unpacking and Check of Delivery Set
In case the boxes with the system were under conditions of the excessive moisture or
low temperature which differs vastly from the working conditions, it is necessary to
place them in the room and leave for 24 hours in normal conditions.
Unpack the boxes and extract the system components. The delivery set should corre-
spond to the packing report.
The computer equipment packed in the separate boxes should be opened according
to user and technical manuals for these products.
Check the components of the system to make sure that there is no external damage.
2.4 Placement and Connection
2.4.1 Placement
Taking into account the delivery set place and connect the system performing the fol-
lowing actions:
1. Perform the assembly (if necessary) and placement of the system parts (accord-
ing to section 2.2). For the devices/parts of the system having their own manuals
follow the recommendations specified in them.
2. Connect the equipment according to Fig. 20 or 21 and notes that follow these pic-
tures.
