1.3.3. Patient Button
The front panel of the patient button is shown in Fig. 10.

The patient button is connected to USB port and works automatically when a new ex-
am is created. The patient button is intended for the recording of patient reaction time
to the stimulus during cognitive EP acquisition. For example, during P300 test the pa-
tient should press the button each time a significant stimulus is delivered. The number
of correct and false pressings and also patient reaction time are calculated by the
program. Any of two buttons can be pressed. The additional functions can be also as-
signed for the patient button in the Neuron-Spectrum.NET software. For example,
when the patient button is pressed, impedance measurement limits can be changed
or markers with notes can be set. The individual note can be set for each button.
