3. Proper Use
3.1 Setting-up Procedures
Operating Limitations:
 Ambient temperature is from +10 to +35С.
 Relative humidity is from 30 to 85% (non-condensing).
 Atmospheric pressure is from 70 to 106 kPa.
Before power supply is switched on, make sure that the electronic unit and computer
equipment cases have no apparent mechanical failures which can represent
a danger.
Power Supply Switch on and Digital EEG System Test
Press Power of your PC to switch on the digital system power supply. The electronic
unit has no power supply switch and is constantly connected to PC. The power supply
switch on occurs after PC operational system loading.
1. Prepare the required equipment including the stimulators (see section 2.4
"Placement and Connection"). As a rule, during the routine EEG it is required
to perform the functional test with photic stimulator that is positioned on a
stand.
2. Make sure that the amplifier unit is connected to USB port of PC or USB hub
with USB cable.
3. If the video and audio data should be recorded simultaneously with EEG data,
connect the video camera(s) and adjust it (them) using Neuron-Spectrum.NET
software (see Neuron-Spectrum.NET user manual and video connection
guidelines.
4. Start Neuron-Spectrum.NET software on your PC. Perform the required steps
in accordance with user manual recommendations. Select the application field
(Fig. 24) as it is needed.
