For timer
recording,

BAND to select FM or AM and tune in the desired
station.
For timer playback/recording of the equipment connected
to the VIDEO/AUX jacks or DIGITAL IN jack,
set the timer
of the equipment
so that playback
begins at the same time.
For timer recording, prepare
a recordable
MD or
tape.
For MD
recording,
insert a recordable
MD.
For tape recording,
insert a recordable tape into the deck 2,
and select reverse
mode (page 10).
Press POWER to turn off the unit.

If the volume
level is set to 21 or higher,
however,
it will
automatically
be set to 20 when the power is turned

You can change
the source that was selected
in step 1 by

QTimer playback
and timer recording
will not begin
unless
the
power is turned
off.
. If you use the unit while
the timer
is set, check
again
the
preparation
of the source for timer playback

The selected

period will be displayed

change the timer setting
Set the timer again from the beginning.

cancel the timer standby mode
Press TIMER
of the main unit, or press TIMER

repeatedly
while

SHIFT
so that
"0
OFF"
appears.
You can turn off the unit automatically
at any desired
time within
4 hours.
