Linking an Optima to an Optima, a Precis 500 MHz, or an Epica DG
An Optima can be directly linked to another Optima or to a Precis 500 MHz or to an Epica DG via the
Ethernet ports.
The total distance between the two linked enclosures cannot exceed 330 ft. (100 m).
Cable Length Requirements

Optima to Optima or Precis 500 MHz or Epica DG
To link an Optima to an Optima, Precis 500 MHz, or Epica DG:
1.
Insert one end of the crossover cable into the first Optima's 10/100 (RJ-45) port.
2.
Insert the other end of the crossover cable into the 10/100 (RJ-45) port on the second Optima
(Precis 500 MHz or Epica DG).
