Chapter 4
The use of proper settings is very important for obtaining the most accurate
information possible. The SignalHawk can be configured in various ways, allow-
ing for a wide range of measurement capabilities.

Core Soft Key Functions

"Soft Keys" serve multiple functions on the SignalHawk. There are four core
functions:
1. On/Off Button - Push to toggle between activating or deactivating a function.
2. Pop-Up Menu Button - Push to open pop-up lists and drop menus. Use the
arrow key, wheel, etc. to select from the menu
(e.g. Freq list).
3. Highlight Button - Push to highlight editable items (e.g. Freq).
4. Trigger Event Button - Push to start a function (Full Span).
