The µ PD784038 is provided with the ports shown in Figure 5-1, enabling various kinds of control to be performed. The function

of each port is shown in Table 5-1. For ports 0 to 6, use of an internal pull-up resistor can be specified by software when used

as input ports.

With the µ PD784031, P40 to P47 serve as address/data bus pins, P50 to P57, as address bus pins, P64, as RD pin,

and P65, as WR pin.

P60 to P63 serve as output port pins.
