Grasp the processor with the thumb and index fingers along the top and bottom edges.
The socket will have cutouts for your fingers to fit into.
Carefully place the processor into the socket vertically.
Note: To avoid damage never touch the pins of socket and the processor at any time during
installation.
Step 6
When installing the CPU, pay attention to the CPU's orientation and align the arrow mark on the
CPU with the arrow key on the socket. And apply the thermal paste on the top of the
processor.
Step 7
Put the top cover back onto the system and fasten all screws.
Note: When removing the top cover to change CPU, the CPU will stick on the underside of the
cover. To avoid damaging the CPU coming off from heatsink or squeezing, please
put the heatsink downwards and remove the expansion box upwards, then take it
down carefully by holding the edges of the CPU and follow section 2.2 to reinstall.
