Cause
Registration marks and printed image overlap.
Registration mark protrudes from print area.
Registration marks are faint.
Registration marks are distorted.
Solution
In [Detailed settings] for custom paper, select
1239: [Margin], and then adjust the margins at
the leading and trailing edges in "01", "02",
"03", "04", "05", "07", "08", and "09".
• Be sure to refer to the registration mark
specification and ensure sufficient margins
around the registration marks. For details,
see page 256 "Registration mark".
• Or change the user's image data.
In [Detailed settings] for custom paper, select
1239: [Margin], and then, in accordance with
the printer settings, adjust the margins at the
leading and trailing edges in "01", "02", "03",
"04", "05", "07", "08", and "09" to change the
position of the registration mark.
• Be sure to refer to the registration mark
specification and ensure sufficient margins
around the registration marks. For details,

In Adjustment Settings for Operators, adjust the
density in 0201-01 [Execute Image Quality
Adjustment: Adjust Image Density].
Carry out the applicable troubleshooting
according to the type of problem.
