Solution: (Fusing Errors on Envelopes)
1. If the paper is not registered as custom paper, register the brand of the paper.
2. In [Detailed settings] for custom paper, check 1244-01: [Fusing Pressure Roller On Before
Fusing].
If it is set to "On", set it to "Off", go to the next step.
If it is already set to "Off", proceed to Step 4.
3. Print and check if the fusibility is within the acceptable range.
• The required level of fusibility is as follows.
• The printed image does not come off.
• The toner does not come off even if it is lightly rubbed by a nail.
• The toner does not come off even if it is rubbed by the cloth for cleaning the contact
glass.
Yes Finish!
No Go to the next step.
4. Select 1241: [Fusing Nip Width Adjustment], and then increase the value in 02:
[Envelope] by 250 µm.
5. Print and check if the fusibility is within the acceptable range.
• The required level of fusibility is as follows.
• The printed image does not come off.
• The toner does not come off even if it is lightly rubbed by a nail.
• The toner does not come off even if it is rubbed by the cloth for cleaning the contact
glass.
Yes Finish!
No Start over from Step 4.
If the problem persists or is not reduced, there is no other solution.
