Removing memory

Installing or removing RAM

The Matrox Supersight SHB boards feature slots in which you can install RAM
modules. The Matrox Supersight SHB-Q170 has four 288-pin DDR4
Long-DIMM slots, and each slot supports a Long-DIMM memory module of up
to 16 Gbytes in size. The total memory on the Matrox Supersight SHB-Q170 can
be up to 64 Gbytes.
To remove the existing memory module(s) from the Matrox Supersight SHB
board:
1. Open the chassis by following the steps explained in Removing the chassis cover,
earlier in this chapter.
2. Remove the SHB from its slot and place it on a static-free flat surface.
3. Spread the clips at each end of the DIMM slot.
