Default hard disk drive
The pre-installed hard disk drives have the following features:
• Supports up to a SATA 3.0 (6.0 Gbps), also referred to as SATA III or SATA 600.
• Storage capacity minimum: 500 Gbytes

• 2.5-inch platter

• Rotational speed: 7200 rpm
• SATA 3.0 (6.0 Gbps) connector.
• Hot-swappable.
• Shock, operating: 400 G 2 msec.
The hard disk drive is resistant to small and medium shocks or vibration, but can
be permanently damaged if subjected to excessive forces.
• Up to four 2.5" hard disk drives can be installed, one in each hard disk drive bay.
Note that, to create a RAID configuration inside your Matrox Supersight, you

must purchase and use 2.5" hard drives designed specifically for use in a RAID
configuration (which might have different specifications than those listed
above).
