Restarting individual SHBs

When the unit is on, you can restart the unit and SHBs using one of the following
techniques:
• Use the keyboard, connected to the required SHB via USB, and press the
Control-Alt-Delete keys simultaneously. Follow all on-screen instructions to
restart your SHB. Repeat for each SHB in your unit.
A system restart should not be done with Matrox Supersight SHB-Q170 when
using an e2 backplane. Doing so might results in not detecting add-on boards
upon restart. Instead, each SHB will need to be shutdown before the SHB is
restarted.
• Press the power button to turn the unit off, and then press the same button to
turn the unit on again. The SHBs will shut down, and then start up again.
