Save and Exit menu

This section describes all the items of the Save and Exit menu. Refer to the section
entitled The Legend window subsection of the The BIOS setup utility section for
navigation guidelines.
❖ Note that, to save your BIOS settings at any time without exiting, press F4.
Meaning
This item saves your changes in CMOS memory and exits the BIOS Setup utility.
Before exiting, a Setup Confirmation dialog box will appear, asking you to confirm that the changes made
should be saved. Using the Tab key or the Left and Right keys, select either OK or Cancel and press the Enter
key to continue.
You can also press the Esc key to return to the Save and Exit menu.
This item discards your changes and exits the BIOS Setup utility.
If configuration changes have been made, a Setup Warning dialog box will appear, asking you to confirm that
the changes made should not be saved. Using the Tab key or the Left and Right keys, select either OK or
Cancel, and press the Enter key to continue.
You can also press the Esc key to return to the Save and Exit menu.
Important: If you select OK, all the changes that you have made in the BIOS Setup utility will be discarded.
This item restores the default settings, for all items, from CMOS memory.
You can also press the Esc key to return to the Save and Exit menu.
This item launches the EFI Shell application (Shellx64.efi). The EFI Shell application can be used to test the
firmware, test the LAN, and partition hard disks.
