Installing or removing RAM

The Matrox 4Sight XV6 motherboard features four 288-pin Long-DIMM slots in
which you can install random access memory (RAM) modules. Each slot can support
one DDR4 2400/2666 Mbps SDRAM module up to 16 Gbytes in size.
Matrox 4Sight XV6 supports 1.2 V, unbuffered, PC3-12800-compliant DDR4
SDRAM. Contact Matrox for a list of supported modules.
 Note that the motherboard supports dual-channel memory technology. This
means that for optimal performance and reliability, when installing new memory
modules, you should install the modules in pairs, starting with slots A0 and B0.
Install identical memory modules in slots A0 and B0 and identical memory
modules in slots A1 and B1. Mixing different models is not recommended.
