36 Chapter 3: Connecting devices to the backplane and to the Matrox Supersight SHB board
Removing the front door from the chassis
The front door of the chassis can be removed for easier access to the front USB
ports, the power button and the reset button. It is recommended to leave this door
attached since it helps guard against accidentally hitting the power button or
damaging the front ports; however, some space restrictions might require you to
remove it. To remove the front door from the chassis, do the following:
1. Unscrew the top two screws that fasten the front door to the chassis.
2. With the front door laying flat, pull back the spring loaded metal latch in the front
left corner of the door.
3. As you continue to hold the spring loaded metal latch back, slide the hinges out
from the hinge brackets and the front door will be detached from the chassis.
