9. Connect the SATA LP4 power connector to one of the 4-pin peripheral power
cables of your Matrox Supersight unit's power supply. Always use the shortest
power cable possible to connect both the DVD drive and mass storage drive to
your Matrox Supersight backplane. This helps avoid having cables getting
squeezed or worn.

Installing a mass storage device drive

The procedure to install a new hard disk drive or a solid state drive (SSD) is
identical to the procedure for Installing or replacing an optical disk drive described
earlier in this section.
