Clearing Memory

You can selectively clear the following information stored in
your machine's memory:
SYSTEM ID Your fax number and name are cleared from the machine's
memory.
Restores all the user-selectable options to the factory default.
Clears the speed dial or group dial numbers stored in the
memory. In addition, all the Scheduled Job operations you
have reserved are also canceled.
Clears all records of transmissions and receptions.
Use the following instructions to clear the required information
from the machine's memory:

Press [Menu/Exit] on the control panel. The display shows
the first menu; SYSTEM DATA.

Press
press [Select].
The display shows the items you can choose to clear.

Press
and press [Select] to clear the item.
To exit without clearing the item, press the [Menu/Exit] key.

Repeat the procedure to clear another item or press [Menu/
Exit] or [Stop] to exit and return to Standby mode.
