FTP Alias is a shortcut used by the DVNext to easily
identify the folder. Enter in any name you would like
(We chose "My FTP").
The IP Address consists of 4 groups of numbers
separated by a period. Tap on each group in the
box and enter in the corresponding digits for that
group. Enter IP address of the FTP server (the IPv4
IP address you got from "ipconfig" in the section
before).
Your FTP Path will be the folder/directory you want to
send all your exported data to. If FTP Path field
is blank, then the instrument will write files into FTP
Root (Home) directory. The sub-directory you want to
write files to should only be specified in the FTP Path
field on the DVNext as shown.
The User Name and Password will be the
corresponding User and Password you created for
the FTP server earlier in Part D. Press OK when done
(Figure 47).

Part h: Log on to FTP server on the PC

Navigate to File Explorer like you did before and type the path "ftp://<ip_address>/" where the ip address is the ip
address of the FTP server, then press Enter (Figure 48). For our case the IP address is 192.168.2.5.
A prompt should come up asking for the user and password. Enter in the User with the corresponding password you
set previously in part D, then click Log On (Figure 49). For our case, User name is "Lab Tech" and the Password is
"admin1".
