This feature has to be enabled on your machine. Contact
your Key Operator for further assistance.
Once enabled, if loading more than one tray with paper of
the same size and type, the Document Centre
220/230/332/340 automatically switches from one tray to the
other, if the active tray runs out of paper. This is called Auto
Tray Switching. However, the Document Centre
220/230/332/340 will not automatically switch to a tray that
contains a different size, type, or color of paper.
HINT: On the Document Centre 332/340 the Bypass Tray
can also be used with Auto Tray Switching.
When not in use the paper trays can be opened and paper
can be loaded while the Document Centre 220/230/332/340
is running. However, do not open the active tray. This will
cause the machine to stop.
