Xerox Document Centre 220/230/332/340 User Guide
A variety of situations can affect the quality of the output.
Check the following conditions to ensure optimum copy
performance. If you still cannot resolve the problem, contact
the Key Operator.
- Do not locate the Document Centre 220/230/332/340 in
direct sunlight or near a radiator.
- Avoid sudden changes in the Document Centre
220/230/332/340 's environment. When a change
occurs, allow the Document Centre 220/230/332/340 at
least two hours to adjust its settings to the new
environment, depending on the severity of the change.
- Follow regular maintenance schedules for cleaning
areas, such as the Document Glass, CVT and output
trays. Refer to "Maintenance" on Page 9-1.
- Always set the media size sensor tab (at the rear of the
paper tray) to the size of the media in the tray.
Otherwise, you might experience jams, or toner residue
on the output.
