To replace the controller shroud:
1 Align the notches in the shroud (marked by arrows) with the pegs on the controller.
2 Lower the shroud into place, making sure the tabs on the shroud seat properly in the controller.
c) For all other models: Lower the PCIe cage back into the controller, making sure that the PCIe cage aligns with the
guide pins. Press down on the top of the PCIe cage ensuring that both riser cards are properly seated in the connectors.
Also make sure that the PCIe cards clear the controller shroud during installation.

d) Tighten the bottom thumbscrew.
10. Insert the controller into the chassis.
a) Make sure the controller release lever is fully extended.
b) Insert the controller into the chassis and push the controller all the way in until the controller release lever locks into
the release lever catch.
The controller will automatically start.
11. Verify configuration of new PCIe cards.
a) In the GUI, click Hardware.
b) Verify that the controllers are in Active and Standby modes. For NICs or HBAs, verify that the ports are connected
(green). For SCM, verify that the icon is blue.
Note: Ports that are not configured for management traffic (NIC ports only) or data traffic (NIC or HBA ports)
report an unconfigured (gray) status. HBA ports cannot be configured for management traffic.
