Always adapt your driving to the traffic flow.

Only use Launch Control when road and traffic conditions allow
it and other drivers will not be endangered or annoyed by your
driving and the vehicle's acceleration.

Please note that the driving wheels can spin and the vehicle
can break away when ESP is switched off, especially when the
road is slippery.
•
Once the starting procedure is complete, you should switch
ESP on again by pressing the ESP switch.

When accelerating using the Launch Control program, all vehicle
parts are subject to heavy loads . This can result in increased wear . •

Emergency

In the event of a system malfunction, there is an emer-
gency program.
In the event of a system malfunction,
R tronic switches to emer -
gency operation mode . This is indicated by a red bar lighting up or
flashing in the Driver Information System display.
An illuminated bar signals that you can continue driving the vehicle.
A flashing bar signals a serious system malfunction :
