With the help of t he sensors in the mirror, when t he light switch is

AUTO position , the low beams are switched on and off auto -
mat ical ly depending on the ambien t light conditions =:> page

WARNING
The glass of the inside rearview mirror is layered and contain s an
electrolyte to achieve it s propert ies. Be aware of liquid electrolyte
leakin g from a broken mirror glass. This liquid can cause irritation
to skin, eyes, and respiratory system .

If you get electrolyt e in your eyes or on your skin, immediately
rinse with plenty of water . If irritation persist s, seek medi cal atten -
tion .

Note
Liquid electrolyte leaked from a broken mirror glass wil l damage any
p lastic surfaces it comes in contact with . Clean up spilled electrolyte
immediately with clear water and a sponge.

Tips
•
If you sw it ch off the automati c dimming function on the inside
mirror, automatic dimming of the out side mirror s will likewise be
disabled .
•
Check to make sure there are no obj ects preventing light from
reaching the inside mirror.
•
Do not attach any stickers to the windshield in front of the two
light sensors, as this would interfere with both the automatic oper -
ation of the head lights and the automatic dimming of the inside
mirror(s). •

Depending on the outside temperature, the mirror surfaces are
heated until the ignition is switched off - even if the knob is no
longer in position @.
We recommend folding * the outside mirrors f lat to help when
parking your vehicle or when maneuvering in very tight spaces .
