- Turn off the ignition.
- Briefly press the button in the instrument cluster
=> page 34, fig . 25. The odometer and the digital clock are
now illuminated.
- Press t he button for at least 2 seconds. Th e curren t ly
stored maximum speed appears in the disp lay.
- Press t he rese t button in the w iper lever @ => page

fig . 26 un ti l t he crossed out speed warn ing symbol f or
warning threshold 2 appears in t he display.
A few seconds after the adjustment is comp let ed, t he il lumination
for the odometer and the digita l clock wi ll go out .

Red symbols
A red sym bol means DANGER
- Pull of the road and st op the vehicle .
- Tur n off the engine.
- Check the malfunctioning system. Contact your aut ho-
rized Audi dealer or a quali fi ed works hop for assistance.

PRESSURE
When a red symbo l appears, a warning tone w ill sound three t imes
in succession. The symbol continues to flash until the ma lf unction
has been repaired. If there is more than on e malfunct ion, t he
symbo ls app ear on e after the oth er for about two seconds .

• The message for a malfunction can be shown by pressing on the
left knob .
• During route guidance on vehicles w ith a navigation system, the
wa rn ing symbo l is shown in the field above . •

A yellow symbol means WARNING.
