Cause
The traction rotor is stuck or the encoder
signal is not correctly received by the
controller.
The error between the power set point
and the estimated power is out of range.
The voltage feedback of the LC driver -
output A27 - is different than expected.
If Alarm is on Master: No load is
connected between the NEVP1 output
(pin A26) and the PEVP (A29)
If Alarm is on Slave: No load is
connected between the NEVP2 output
(pin B22) and the electro valve positive
terminal (B19)
If Alarm is on Master: The EVP driver
(output NEVP1, Pin A26) is shorted.
The microcontroller detects a mismatch
between the valve set-point and the
feedback of the EVP output.
If Alarm is on Slave: The EVP driver
(output NEVP2, Pin B22) is shorted.
The microcontroller detects a mismatch
between the valve set-point and the
feedback of the EVP output.
For the Master, no load is connected
between the NEB R output A28 and the
EB positive terminal PEB
For the Slave No load is connected
between the NEB L output A30 and the
EB positive terminal PEB
PEVP terminal (pin A29) is supplied
by terminal PIN (pin A13) through an
embedded high-side switch. The alarm
occurs in case terminal PIN A13 is not
connected to the battery or the voltage is
different from that defined by parameter
SET POSITIVE PEB.
The output of the motor thermal sensor
is out of range.

Troubleshooting
Check the encoder condition. Check
the wiring.
Through the TESTER function,
check if the sign of FREQUENCY
and ENCODER are the same and if
they are different from zero during a
traction request.
If the problem is not solved, replace
the logic board.
Replace the controller.
Check that the contactor is operating
correctly.
Check the valve and the valve wiring.
If no problem can be found, replace
the controller.
Check if there is a short circuit or
a low-impedance conduction path
between the negative of the coil and
-B.
Check parameters EVP COIL RESIST.
and EVP2 COIL RESIST. to match the
resistance values of the coils.
If no problem can be found, replace
the controller.
Check the coil and the wiring.
This alarm can be present on the
Master or Slave of the controller. M
216-BRK1 ERR Represents fault is
on the Master (Right) Motor Brake
S 216-BRK1 ERR Represents fault is
on the Slave (left) motor brake.
If no problem can be found, replace
the controller.
Check PIN terminal A13: it must be
connected to the battery voltage
(after the master contactor).
Set the nominal voltage for the
outputs by parameter SET POSITIVE
PEB under the ADJUSTMENTS list.
Check if the resistance of the sensor
is what expected measuring its
resistance.
Check the wiring.
If the problem is not solved, replace
the logic board.
