Cause
This alarm occurs when both the travel
requests (FW and BW) are active at the
same time.
CHECK EIGHT S01: Controller monitors
the mast limit switch and the height
sensor (string pot) readings; if the
controller detects mast is in elevated
position and height sensor reading stays
below XX m (PARAMETER "OUTDOOR
ELEV. M"), this means the string pot wire
is not in place. The machine interlocks
raise and drive function, and it triggers
an audible alarm and flash of indoor
mode light.
CHECK EIGHT S02: Controller monitors
the sensor reading incrementing while lift
function is requested and time out after
1.5 s if no change in the sensor value
declare fault. The machine interlocks
raise and drive function, and it triggers
an audible alarm and flash of indoor
mode light.
CHECK EIGHT S04: Controller monitors
the sensor reading; the sensor reading
shall be within 5 cm to 6000 cm. If
the reading is outside this range, the
machine interlocks raise and drive
function, and it triggers an audible alarm
and flash of indoor mode light.
The controller has detected a
communication issue with the height
sensor:
HEIGHT NO MSG 24: CAN OPEN
HEIGHT SENSOR exits from
OPERATIONAL STATE;
HEIGHT NO MSG 25: eartbeat packets
are not received before timeout;
HEIGHT NO MSG 24: PD01 packets are
not received before timeout;
This error occurs when the machine is
outdoor and the platform is over height.
Two cases are possible:
OUTDOOR MODE 01: machine is
outdoor and over height. Lifting is
inhibited.
OUTDOOR MODE 02: machine is
outdoor and
over height. Lifting and driving is
inhibited.
Section 5 – Procedures
Troubleshooting
Check joystick and its state.
Check the joystick readings by the
TESTER function. If the problem is
not solved, replace the joystick.
Check string pot wire.
Check the sensor and the wiring.
Lower the platform below the over
height threshold
