Fuel System
6) Removing Carburetor
Before working on fuel system, make sure
to disconnect batter y cables from the
batter y, or electric sparks can occur,
possibly igniting fuel or causing fuel to
explode.
1.
Disconnect choke link wire.
B e c a r e f u l n o t t o b e n d w i r e t i p 1 w h e n
disconnecting.
Disconnect breather hose 2 from intake silencer.
2.
Remove two air vent hoses 3 from carburetor.
3.
Remove fuel hose 4 from fuel pump.
4.
Before disconnecting fuel hose, place a piece of
cloth below fuel pump to absorb leaking fuel.
