5. Hold pivot and loosen lock nut.
Put thickness gauge 3 in the gap between rocker arm

and valve, measure the gap between rocker arm and
valve with thickness gauge 3.
Valve Clearance (when engine is cold) :
(IN) intake side
(EX) exhaust side
7. Rotate pivot to adjust valve clearance, and then,
tighten lock nut.
Pivot Adjust Nut :
10 N · m (7 lb · ft) [1.0 kgf · m]
Torque Wrench :
Use commercially available item.
Thickness Gauge :
Use commercially available item.
8. Check valve clearance again.

: 0.06 - 0.14mm (0.0025 - 0.0055in)
: 0.11 - 0.19mm (0.0045 - 0.0075in)
