Attach connecting rod cap 4 to connecting rod, and
5.
tightening connecting rod bolts 5 in two steps to specified
torque.
· Install connecting rod cap 4 after applying
engine oil to inside of the part.
· Bring locating marks a of connecting rod cap
4 and connecting rod, and install in original
position (direction).
Connecting Rod Bolts 5 :
1st tightening torque : 6 N · m (4 lb · ft) [0.6 kgf · m]
2nd tightening torque : 12 N · m (9 lb · ft) [1.2 kgf · m]
Install lifter 6 to cylinder block.

Apply much engine oil to face of valve lifter that
contacts camshaft.

Apply much engine oil to faces of camshaft 7 that contacts

valve lifter and bearing.

Install camshaft to cylinder block as shown.
Bring crankshaft mark d to camshaft w mark e.
