What?
Have print heads checked and, if necessary, adjusted by
Durst service technicians.
Change main ink filters (→ Page 127 / Changing main
ink filters)
Allow only Durst service technicians to check pneumatic
circuits.
Clean housing of the printer (→ Page 127 / Cleaning
housing).
Remove leaked ink.
Clean conveyor belt.
Carry out print head maintenance (→ Page 130 / Print
head maintenance).
Clean catch tray of scraping blade (→ Page 122 / Clean
catch tray of scraping blade).
Check fuses and, if necessary, have replaced by Durst
service technicians (→ Page 127 / Checking fuses).

2 Important information

Scattered light from the UV lamps reduces print quality. Scattered light may
be present in the following cases:
Black painted surfaces are scratched and thus take on a reflective
surface.
The light trap carrier is not installed.
Do not touch black painted surfaces with hard objects, e.g. knives.
Ensure that the light trap carrier is always installed.
Repaint discolored black painted surfaces on the transport system or
light trap with black paint.
3 Initialization after closing the flip doors
Once you have closed the flip doors after service work, you must reinitialize
the print carriage.
✔ The flip doors are closed
Initialize print carriage in the software (→ Page 100 / Operating printer
functions).
