1 Inspection and cleaning intervals

have been retained.

What?
Check housing covers visually.
Check condition of the encoder ruler and have it purged
by Durst service technicians if heavily soiled.
Carry out the work of daily print head maintenance
(→ Page 130 / Print head maintenance).
Check all warning signs for cleanliness and readability
and replace if necessary.
Ensure that all protective equipment is attached and
in proper working order. This includes the following
protective equipment (in particular):
Protective switches
Housing covers
Limit switches of the stacking unit
UV lamp protection
UV curtain at media outlet
Wiping printing plate(→ Page 130 / Print head
maintenance)
Carry out the work of weekly print head maintenance
(→ Page 130 / Print head maintenance).
Carry out the work of weekly print head maintenance
(→ Page 130 / Print head maintenance).
Check air filter of UV lamps and change if necessary
(→ Page 125 / Checking and replacing air filter).
Clean exhaust grate.
Change filter of the ink separator (→ Page 124 / Changing
filter of the ink separator)
