Programming MACRO operations
You can program
your ov,,n macro
and use tile MACRO
feature
to transmit
several remote
control
commands
in
sequence
at the press of a button.
Be sure to set up remote
control codes or perform
learning
operations
before
progrannning
the macro.
We do not recommend
programming
continuous
operations
such as volume
control
in a macro.

ON/OFF

Set MACRO ON/OFF to ON.

Press a macro button.
• When you haxe finished using the MACRO lbature, set
MACRO ON/OFF to OFF.
• While the remote is carrying out a MACRO program, it will not
accept any other btltton's fm/ction until the macro operation is
complete (the transmission
indicator stops flashing).
• Continue to aim the remote control at the component the macro
is operating until the macro operation is complete.
• The def:mlt macro is not cleared when a new macro is
programmed lot a button. The def:mlt macro can be used a_ain
when the progranlmed
macro is cleared.
• It is not possible to add a new signal (macro step) to the delault
macro. Programming
a macro changes all macro contents.
Set AMP/SOURCE/TV
to AMP
or SOURCE.
Press
MACRO
using a ballpoint
pen or
similar
object.
"MCR
?" appears
in the display
windov<
If you do not complele
each of the lollowing
steps wilhin
30
seconds,
the macro
programnfing
mode
will be
aulonmtically
canceled.
In this case, press
MACRO
again.
Press the macro
button
you want to use to
operate
the macro.
The macro
button nanae (ex. M;DVD)
and the
selected
component
name (ex. DVD) appear
alternately
in the disphty
window.
