1. Verify that the joules mode is disabled or has a valid set point value. (For more
information, read about the "Energy"function in the "I/O Communication and
Control" chapter.)
2. Verify that the target life counter is disabled or has a valid value. (For more
information, read about the "Target"function in the "I/O Communication and
Control" chapter.)
3. For dual models, verify that both units are enabled. For more information, consult
the descriptions for E020 in the table in the following section.
4. Verify that the user-definable power, voltage, and current limits are set to values
reasonable for the process application.
5. Check for interlock, bus fault, or over-temperature faults.
