3.3.8 4X Extension Unit
The 4X Extension module is an input and output extension module installed in your E-Box. It will
allow you to connect more equipment to your system. The module consists of 4 IN inputs, 2 AL
alarm inputs and 4 AUX outputs.
To be functional, the 4X Extension module must be configured through the website only.

Speed-FC

The Speed-FC is an interface installed in your E-Box. The Speed-FC allows optimal control of the
different speeds of a variable speed filtration pump according to programmable scenarios through
the website only.
The rotational speeds of the different speeds are pre-set directly on the pump control box.
The Speed FC will select the necessary speed according to the needs in order to achieve
maximum savings in electricity consumption without affecting the quality of filtration.
Depending on the make of the pump there are usually 3 or 4 different speeds (V1, V2, V3 and V4).

• Speed 1 (V1): minimum water circulation. This speed is used to avoid freezing, it is selected
when the shutter is deployed on the basin (if the installation is equipped with it). The speed V1
will operate 24/24h if the water temperature is above +28.0°C;
• speed 2 (V2): allows greater water circulation when the shutter is stowed (if the installation is
equipped with it);
• speed 3 (V3): allows strong water circulation when an accessory requires it. It is commonly
chosen when using a heater, a cascade, etc. It is triggered according to the parameters of a
timer or through a wired remote control;
• speed 4 (V4): exclusively used for backwashing the filter. On some pumps, V4 is not
adjustable and corresponds to the maximum power.
The Speed-FC is compatible for the control of VS pumps such as (non-exhaustive list):
• Pentair IntelliFlo;
• Pentair VS2 and VS2m;
