INSTALLATI ON OF OIL COOLER AND RELIEF

1. INSTA LL RELIEF VALVE
2. INS TALL EX HAUST MANIFOLD STAY (CV)
3. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET
(a) Place a new 0-ring on the filter bracket.
(bl Install the filter bracket with the f,ve bolts.
Torq ue: 375 kg-cm (27 ft-lb, 37 N·ml
4. INSTALL Oil FILTER (See page LU-4)
5. INSTALL Oil COOLER
(a) Place two new 0 -rings on the on cooler.
(b) Connect the two water hoses to the oil cooler .
(c) Install the oil cooler with the two union bolts .
Torque: 525 kg-cm (38 ft-lb, 51 N·ml
6 . INS TALL Oi l PRESSURE SWITCH
(al Install the oil pressure switch .
(b) Connect the connector to the oil pressure switch .
7. REFILL W ITH COOLA NT
(See step 3 on page C0-3)
8. START ENGINE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS
9. CHECK Oil LEVEL AND COOLANT LEVEL
Fill with engine oil and/ or coolant if necessary.
